FAMILIES IN RESIDENCE

SUZUTANI

The most famous female outside of Japan. She is responsible for providing the breed with some of its best producers.
Shigeshigetani, Sanjrou, Kanadagene and most recently Sanjrou 3

The animals that trace back to Suzutani are highly sought after and are becoming very hard to find. Breeders that have genetics contained within their herd that are true Suzutani do not part with them. (The traits for exceptional ribeye area and marbling make this line special)

During our years in the Synergy Wagyu project we had one of her more famous granddaughters present at the Farm, Suzito 3. The quality present in the Suzutani family is easy to see and it ony expresses itself more as the progeny age.

Suzito was eventually sold at the Synergy Wagyu dispersal sale and even at age 11 she commanded $52,000 USD.

Today we maintain a family based out of the Suzito maternal line.
We will do quite a bit with our Suzutani family going forward as we have perhaps more, than many others, witnessed exactly what these genetics yield as the time clock brings out their best.
